Pocono Modern Candles
Pocono Modern expressed interest in creating a candle line based on our collection of vintage photography slides. I spearheaded the project, selecting the photos from our master slides, editing the photos, and creating the Polaroid photo labels for the candles.
After searching through hundreds of old photography slides, I chose several images that best reflected the chosen scents: Orchid & Sea Salt and Christmas Spice. Then I created the labels below to replicate the look of an old Polaroid photo, on theme with Pocono Modern’s branding.
Since the candle product had a circular lid, I also incorporated Pocono Modern’s logo into the shape and gave label options for maintaining our brand with the finished product. Using just a rasterized image of the logo, I found ways to adapt our logo to the shape while keeping our branding intact.
After finding the proper images, restoring the image, selecting the appropriate font, and creating the Polaroid graphic, Pocono Modern created two candles for their customers, shown below.
